This is the second announcement of the Fourth International Conference on the History of Mathematics Education (ICHME4) that will take place in Torino, Italy, from Sunday 23 to Wednesday 26 September 2015.

The conference inauguration will be held in the historic “Sala dei Mappamondi” of the Accademia delle Scienze (Via Maria Vittoria, 3). The other sessions of the conference will take place in the Aula Magna of the Università di Torino (Via Giuseppe Verdi, 8).
The deadlines for registration and submission of abstracts are the following:
Submission of abstracts | 10 April 2015 |
Notification of acceptance of abstracts | 15 May 2015 |
Payment of conference fees (160 Euros)(fee is 190 Euros after that date) | 15 June 2015 |
Announcement of definitive program | 15 June 2015 |
The conference will address the following themes:
- journals for teachers;
- teacher education;
- contents, instances and practices of teaching (Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, …);
- mathematics textbooks;
- curricula history;
- development of mathematics education in specific countries;
- the modern mathematics movements;
- interdisciplinarity and contexts.
In addition to these themes, we welcome abstracts on other topics as long as they are in keeping with the general theme of the conference.
